LifeSculpt’s story begins with a group of students at the University of Colorado at Boulder who came together in 2022 to encourage a brain-centered approach to mental health treatment, end the negative stigma surrounding mental health, and address inaccurate diagnosic methods with on-campus workshops and outreach events. The effort was pioneered by student Elle Snyder, who named the group “Buff Brain Gym”.
Elle would graduate with her Bachelor’s in Neuroscience in May 2025, allowing then Vice President Brandon Winecki to resume the organization’s efforts with a focus on holistic, mind-centered health treatment under the new name “LifeSculpt”.

Brandon is an undergraduate student from the University of Colorado at Boulder studying clinical psychology and applications of cognitive restructuring and emotional regulation therapy. In addition to his counseling, educational, and outreach efforts, he seeks to incorporate the techniques of the various contemplative traditions into Western scientific contexts, especially with regard to integrative health education.
